Panasonic Gives 2,000 Solar Lanterns for African Refugees

Panasonic Corp., under its 100,000 Solar Lantern Project, will send 2,000 solar lamps to a refugee camp in Africa.

 

The overall project includes 100,000 solar-powered lanterns being sent to various regions without electricity. The company will donate 3,000 portable solar lanterns to NGOs in Myanmar this month and in March, Panasonic will add an additional 5,000 lamps for NGOs in India.
