Eranove and Envol Africa, through their subsidiary Kenié Energie Renewable, continue the development of this project in Mali with the launch of the EPC for the Kenié hydropower plant.

Four groups were shortlisted: Sinohydro, Sogea / Voith / Cegelec, SGTM Morocco and China Gezhouba Group Company.

The Kenié hydroelectric power, with an installed capacity of 42 MW, will help improve the energy situation in Mali.

The main works to be studied, built and put into service under the contract include: a discharge threshold of approximately 1,000 meters in length, a low-rainfall hydroelectric plant comprising three 14 MW evacuation of the energy connecting the power station to the national network, a housing and office city necessary for the exploitation of the development, the temporary and definitive access roads to the various works.

Marc Albérola, President of Kenié Renewable Energy and General Manager of Eranove, commented: "The launch of the call for tenders marks a decisive step towards the construction of the Kenié hydroelectric power station. I would like to thank all our public and private partners without whom we could not have reached this stage. "
